What is Haw River Ballroom’s current policy regarding COVID-19?

All concerts and events at Haw River Ballroom will require proof of a full course of COVID-19 vaccination and masks will be required to be worn properly while inside the venue except when drinking (and we will be providing compostable lids & bent straws for those who want to drink with masks on.) Proper mask wearing will be required during the entirety of the show. All patrons must have a completed COVID-19 vaccination card, with their final dose at least fourteen days prior to the event.

When does this policy go into effect?

All shows will require proof of complete vaccination + 14 days for the foreseeable future, effective immediately.

No one without proof of vaccination will be allowed in the venue.

What forms of proof are accepted?

Proof of vaccination + 14 days may include a physical card or a photo of a complete vaccination card that matches the patron ID and has your name and vaccine information.*

What if I am not vaccinated?

We are sorry but if you are not vaccinated, science says that now is not the time to be in an indoor crowded space. We are particularly sorry when it comes to children under 12 or anyone that is medically unable to receive the vaccine, but for now, as a private business, we have decided to move forward with what we strongly believe is the safest choice for our customers, staff and artists with the goal of keeping people safe and live music possible.

What if I received my COVID-19 vaccinations outside of North Carolina or outside of the country?

Our staff is trained to verify vaccinations from out of state and out of the country.

Why is this policy necessary?

Taking these steps ensures the safety of our guests, staff, and the artists, and implementing this measure minimizes risk and the spread of the virus. Haw River Ballroom’s previous policy included mandatory vaccinations for staff, and this is an extension of those precautions.

Are Haw River Ballroom staff members vaccinated?

All Haw River Ballroom staff and security are fully vaccinated and will be wearing masks at all times. Bands are crews are fully vaccinated and are conducting regular testing for all members of their teams. Bands and their crews are also wearing masks when not on stage.

Where can I get a COVID-19 test?

What do I do if I lost my vaccination card?

If you received the vaccine in North Carolina through a NC county public health department, you may have an account through the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and you download a copy of your vaccination record HERE. If you do not have an account through the DHHS dashboard, please call 1-888-675-4567. If you were vaccinated outside of North Carolina, find the Immunization Information Systems through the CDC HERE. If you were vaccinated through a pharmacy, clinic or doctor’s office and lost your vaccine record, contact the point of your vaccine to retrieve your record.

If I am not planning to get vaccinated and I already purchased a ticket for a show, where can I get a refund?

If you have already purchased tickets for a show that is presented by Cat’s Cradle please contact their ticket provider Etix HERE. Etix is experiencing a high volume of ticket requests, please be patient as you await your refund, it may take up to 30 days to receive it.

If you have already purchased tickets for a show that is at Haw River Ballroom but ticketed by Eventbrite, you can find directions to request your refund HERE. You may only request a refund up until 72 hours before a show.
